You probably seen it already. Custom filter for message in Multiply is one tool that can save your day. We will see how it being used to simplify searching among numerous messages you received every day. For those who unfamiliar with it, please take a look the the picture below, to identify its location.

Let's illustrate a case where you need to use this tool. Say, you have numerous contacts and you've been away for sometime from Multiply. When you get back and have time, you want to read some posts from your best "Friend", "Online Buddy", or any other. But when you open it, you suddenly realize that you missed so many of them. Of course you can try to filter the posts from your closest contacts first, then working away from that. But the idea of using Custom filter is such a good option.

After you click on that option, you probably want to type particular name (or names) immediately, and hit that [OK] button, hoping it will save your time for that day. Instead of getting what you wanted, your screen is pretty much the same as before. This is because the default setting for that tool is actually too broad. In order to get what you really wanted, minimize all the options (compare the next picture with previous one).

The filter you just defined can also be saved, to be easily retrieved later. Unfortunately, you cannot re-edit saved custom filters. You can only delete it, and re-create another one. Or just create and save with the same name, the new setting will override the old one.
