But being an old theme, Avlack still hasn't lost it's fame..
jnamakulit wrote on Dec 7, '07, edited on Dec 7, '07
Some codes available for modification of the old themes are not applicable in the new tabbed themes..

Notice the tabbed themes.. Try to use it.. It has a different feel.

Actually 5 of new themes are based on AVLACK.
I'm pretty much hoping (before) that wide themes
and left rail themes also got some more option to
be selected there. But I can live with them now.
Not really a big problem, just a matter of preference.
jnamakulit wrote on Dec 8, '07
My page is distorted with some of the new themes applied.. I don't know why but it's no big deal..
nancybug wrote on Dec 8, '07
I'm a big Custom Color fan (since I don't know CSS )
I did try out all the other new ones tho.
The Japanese Minimalist was the only one that was distorted on my page. But it *is* very pretty
jnamakulit wrote on Dec 8, '07
The japanese theme seems to be not as compact as the other themes.. It always tend to be distorted in a away. But not for everyone..

AVLACK was the easiest for me to alter on both of my sites
hanzrobin wrote on Dec 9, '07
While I agree with texasville in that AVLACK is the easiest one to alter. When I'm not in the mood to do any altering, I'd go with DANCE WITH ME as I love the colors.

none of them--i prefer to do my own page
jnamakulit wrote on Dec 10, '07
having your own theme is still the best idea.. but nonetheless, you'll have to be using one of these default themes as a "base".. =D which one do you usually use?
kylieukira wrote on Dec 12, '07
These great themes gives you some ideas to start with.
I have tried some of the themes,,,,, Skyline, Avlack, Melon and Red Frog.

Hmmm... I'm of the opinion that I still prefer my own design. (Lol)

I used the newspaper theme as a base for my site. Looking for the "url"s in the css code made it easier for me to edit it and get the look that I wanted. To tell you the truth, I still can't figure out some parts of the avlack theme up to now.
jnamakulit wrote on Dec 18, '07
avlack is a li'l confusing.. other's are plain and simple. for begginers, I suggest to use the "Custom Colors".. It's almost the same (almost because it's limited on which parts you can change).. But little by little, by adding and changing parts of the CSS (one by one), you'll soon be creating and editing themes like a pro!
pinknognog wrote on Dec 18, '07
Yeah, when I first started designing my site I actually had this feeling that custom colors theme would have been easier to figure out. But everytime I get to that page that contains the boxes for customizing the colors I get..uh,sidetracked. I always end up playing with the color combinations and then logout of multiply, totally forgetting about the css thing. Heh, talk about ADD! I'll probably give it a try again. Thanks for the suggestion.

how can i use this same kind of theme in my friendster?
jnamakulit wrote on Mar 7
you can't. as you see, we cater multiply topics, not much into friendster. and for a fact, friendster's layout and codes are different to that of multiply.
