January 21, 2008 (Group Report)

The number of members DOUBLED since the last Group Report and it's very flattering to know that the group is still here!! A warm thanks is extended to all of you members of the Group and to those people who have been supporting us and extending helps in one way or another. Let's keep it up and make our group grow more by inviting friends over and those people you trust! (we don't wanna be a target for spamming users right?)

The Group's theme has been edited for better viewing and reading purposes. There have been some requests since the start of the group for a color change since it's sometimes difficult for others to read posts in darker contrasts. The choice of the theme came to the idea of choosing a simpler and more "default" looking base to give the group a respectable and formal look - without sacrificing the ability to read texts easily.

Next, tutorials have been added an updated. There have been a lot of changes since the group has started, and constant updates and more tutorials written are needed and better posted for guidance. Ideas and other tutorials are very much appreciated, with the consent of the Group Admin.

Easy posting for NEW NOTES have been added in the home page (see +ADD POST icon). Posting in the NOTES section has been made easy by just clicking the ADD POST icon! The idea of which is to easily convince members to post questions in the Notes section. The feature also allows those users who find it hard (or doesn't really know how) to create a new post in a Group's Note section.

I like this group. It's easy to just drop a line and have a question answered. It's friendly...not snotty at all..I like that!

I'm still pretty new to all this and quite often I get stuck...in coding, that is.

The layout is neat and clean..

so
really light text over dark backround can be significantly more difficult to read ?

there are some who told me that they are having a hard time reading texts (regardless of text color) if the background is black..

well, I thought sticking to the basic - dark text on a light background would be good enough..

yeah I notishd the contrast has to be not high if u use dark background
me too I see that double ,,
but its better if u use a soft contrast
